Vaudreuil-Dorion now one of Canada’s fastest growing municipalities is a well managed municipality. Taxes are lower than neighbouring metropolitan Montreal, but the new nearby AMT train stop (So close you can walk!) will put you in downtown Montreal without any traffic.

This Spring the city plans to break ground on a new $25 million sports and recreation center. Also, the Province has announced a new regional hospital planned to open in 2018. Last year the City opened a new hockey arena. Two new elementary schools (one French and one English) are being planned for the area for 2012 and 2013 respectively.
